Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations at the plant and during concrete loading operations.

• Conduct daily safety inspections of plant equipment, batching plant area, truck movement zones, and loading areas.

• Ensure proper use of PPE by plant workers, drivers, and site staff.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for plant personnel and drivers.

• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases.

• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records of plant activities.

• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety policies.

• Coordinate with plant management to improve overall safety performance.

• Assist during external safety inspections and audits.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH preferred, including fire safety and first aid.

• 2–4 years experience as Safety Officer in construction, ready-mix, precast, or manufacturing environment.

• Familiar with plant safety, heavy equipment safety, and vehicle movement control.

• Good knowledge of risk assessment and incident reporting.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

• Good communication skills in English.
