Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Data Center infrastructure projects & Tier III will be preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Certifications: Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), ATD / CDCS / CDCE, OEM Certifications (UPS/Cooling), Electrical Safety, HVAC, OSHA / HSE
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and execute deployment of Precision Cooling Systems (CRAC/CRAH/In-Row Cooling),Hot Aisle / Cold Aisle POD Containment, UPS Systems, Battery Banks,Power Distribution Units (PDU), Rack Systems & Cable Management, Environmental Monitoring Systems
* Ensure installation activities are executed according to approved drawings, OEM guidelines, and project specifications.
* Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and networking teams during implementation.
* Conduct site surveys and technical assessments for Data Center projects.
* Assist in preparation of Technical proposals, BOQs, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Layout Drawings, Cooling Calculations, Load Calculations, Technical Submittals
* Review and validate infrastructure compatibility for power and cooling requirements.
* Support project planning and engineering teams in solution design.
* Perform installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Data Center systems.
* Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated System Testing (IST).
* Verify operational performance of UPS systems, Cooling systems, Battery backup systems, & Environmental sensors.
* Perform preventive maintenance activities for UPS systems, Cooling systems, Batteries, Electrical panels, POD containment infrastructure
Troubleshoot power, cooling, and environmental issues.
* Monitor alarms, temperature, humidity, and power health parameters.
* Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for warranty support and spare parts replacement.
* Monitor Data Center infrastructure health and environmental conditions & ensure proper airflow management and cooling optimization.
* Support 24x7 operational requirements and emergency response activities.
* Prepare and maintain reports based on As-built drawings, Test reports, Commissioning, Preventive maintenance, Incident, Handover documentation.
* Ensure compliance with TIA-942, Uptime Institute standards, Electrical and safety regulations, OEM recommendations and participate in audits and inspections.
* Good understanding of Precision Air Conditioning Systems, HVAC fundamentals, UPS topology and battery technologies, Power distribution systems, Cooling load calculations, Environmental monitoring systems.
* Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings, HVAC drawings, SLDs,Layout plans.
* Familiarity with BMS/DCIM systems will be an advantage.
