Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, map out functional requirements, and configure Odoo ERP to deliver tailored solutions that drive business success. You will be responsible for ensuring Odoo’s functionalities meet client objectives and optimize their business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Requirement Analysis: Engage with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, understand their workflows, and translate these into effective Odoo solutions.
Odoo Configuration: Configure and implement Odoo modules
Business Process Mapping: Map out current business processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations using Odoo.
Solution Design: Design and document functional specifications that align with client objectives and ensure successful Odoo implementations.
User Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, helping them leverage Odoo to its fullest potential.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with clients, ensuring the implemented solution meets all functional requirements and business goals.
Project Management Support: Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that project timelines and deliverables are met.
Customization Requests: Work with Odoo developers to create custom features or modifications as needed by the client.
Post-Implementation Support: Offer ongoing support after implementation, assisting with troubleshooting, updates, and new module rollouts.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in Odoo functional consulting, implementation, and support.
Odoo Knowledge: Strong understanding of core Odoo modules and their functionalities (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.).
Business Process Understanding: Ability to understand and analyze client business processes and workflows.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex concepts to clients and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically and suggest solutions that meet client requirements.
Project Management: Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Education: A degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multiple Odoo versions (v12, v13, v14, etc.).
Familiarity with advanced Odoo modules (eCommerce, Manufacturing, Purchase, etc.).
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (developers, project managers, etc.).
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
Odoo certification is a plus.
