Job Summary
As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, operating, and maintaining enterprise IT systems across Windows and Linux environments. Your role will involve managing critical services such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, backups, and shared storage in an on-premise enterprise setting.
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in system administration within large organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Server.
Oversee Linux system administration (command-line, shell scripting, package management).
Work with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Implement backup solutions and manage storage technologies (RAID, SAN/NAS).
Automate tasks using PowerShell (Windows) and Bash/Python (Linux).
Document system processes and provide technical support.
Required Skills & Experience
Extensive experience with Windows Server & Active Directory.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server.
Hands-on Linux administration expertise.
Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
Expertise in backup solutions & storage management.
PowerShell & Bash/Python scripting for automation.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft: MCSE, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Messaging Administrator Associate.
Linux: RHCE, LPIC-2/LPIC-3.
Virtualization: VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
Networking: F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (if applicable).
IT Service Management: ITIL Foundation.
