Fuels Department Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of fuel operations, engineering projects, and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oilfield distribution and sales, and demonstrate excellent leadership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fuel Procurement & Inventory Management
Identify and engage with fuel suppliers.
Oversee contract negotiations and agreement finalizations.
Manage ship scheduling, costing, and financial reporting.
Resolve technical and logistical issues related to fuel purchases.
2. Engineering Projects & Facility Maintenance
Lead the design, planning, and execution of engineering projects.
Coordinate with contractors for site construction and commissioning.
Oversee maintenance schedules for all equipment and fuel-related facilities.
3. Fuel Operations
Supervise LPG bottling plant, 4 petrol stations, storage depot, and distribution.
Oversee ship offloading and cash handling operations.
Supervisory & Strategic Tasks:
Monitor and review fuel operations both in Socotra and the Abu Dhabi office.
Analyze and report on stock levels, sales performance, currency exchange impacts, and profitability.
Review and validate monthly sales and inventory reports before submission to finance and government authorities.
Evaluate project updates and provide insights to senior management.
Contribute to the preparation and review of the annual departmental budget.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience: 15 years in oilfield fuel distribution and sales.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
