This role will be responsible for providing support in supervising the Mechanical works in the client's building projects (warehouses, Fit-out and labor accommodations). He should ensure that projects will be completed on time, as per the scope, specifications, standards and budget.
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or an equivalent degree..
• Project Management Qualifications and Accreditations (PMP) is an advantage
• Min 5 years’ experience for similar projects
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical works in construction projects (warehouses and labor accommodations).
•NFPA and civil defence license/certification is an advantage
Responsibility:
• Perform a variety of professional engineering duties in support of the construction project works, such as calculations and computations, and preparing project cost analysis, BOQ, drawings and specifications review, etc
• Participate in the review of contractor work activities and ensure compliance with contract obligation
• Review drawings, plans, Mechanical submissions, and other work details submitted by consultants and
contractors for conformance with standards, authorities’ regulations, and work specifications
• Candidate should know the local authority's requirements, regulations, the needed permits, and NOCs for the assigned projects
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Manage day-to-day working, utilization, implementation, and technical consultants engaged in client assignments
