Skills Required-
The BI Specialist should be a full-stack data & analytics professional – strong in BI visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, SAPBO), ETL/integration tools (Informatica, SAPDI), data storage systems (Oracle Exadata, SQL Server, Hadoop), and adept at managing hybrid on-premise + cloud BI ecosystems.
Qualifications:-
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in data visualization and business intelligence.
Ability to design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports.
Hands-on experience in integrating multiple data sources into Microsoft Power BI (on-premise and cloud versions).
Data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
Power Query (M language) for data transformation
Building KPI dashboards and performance scorecards
Advanced visualization techniques and storytelling with data
Data security, row-level security (RLS), and workspace management
Publishing and sharing reports on Power BI Service and Power BI Embedded
Experience in connecting Power BI with Hadoop Datalake, Oracle Exadata Datawarehouse, Oracle databases, SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and APIs.
Experience in using Informatica tool for data ingestion.
Experience in working on reporting for Oracle Fusion ERP or any other ERP s/m and Student Information System
Experience in integrating Power BI with Data Lake as well as work on Cloud option of Power BI and embedding Power BI as a widget in different calling applications
