Position Overview
A leading medical facility in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant in Aesthetic Dermatology to join its team. This role is ideal for Western-trained dermatologists looking to relocate to the Middle East and advance their careers in a modern, high-demand healthcare environment. The consultant will focus on diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions while specializing in aesthetic procedures to enhance skin health and appearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dermatological assessments and consultations
- Perform advanced non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including injectables (Botox, fillers), laser therapy, chemical peels, and skin rejuvenation treatments
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and cosmetic goals
- Stay informed about global developments in dermatology and aesthetic medicine to integrate innovative techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
- Ensure strict compliance with UAE medical regulations and ethical guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized Western institution
- Board Certification in Dermatology (e.g., American Board of Dermatology, Royal College of Physicians UK, European Board of Dermatology)
- Specialized certification in aesthetic medicine (e.g., Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, Fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatology)
- A minimum of five years of experience in dermatology, with a strong emphasis on aesthetic procedures
- Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or willingness to obtain one upon relocation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse, international clientele
