Our client, an employee centric boutique multi award winning progressive architectural practice is looking to appoint an energetic and forward thinking Site Based project Manager to join their team in Dubai and take on a leadership role to help manage and grow the business across the region.
The Site Project Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of architectural projects from a site perspective.
This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both architecture and construction management, with a strong focus on project delivery, client relations, team management, and quality control.
In addition to site and project responsibilities, the role will also incorporate business development functions to support company growth and client engagement.
Responsibilities and Duties
ProjectManagement&Delivery
- Buildandmaintainstrongclientrelationships,ensuringtheirexpectationsaremanagedandmetthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.
- Actasthemainpointofcontactforclients,contractors,andotherstakeholderson-site.
- Managetheentireprojectlifecycle,ensuringtheseamlessintegrationofdesign,construction,andsitemanagement.
- Monitorprojectprogress,providedirection,andmakedecisionstomitigaterisksorresolveissueson-site.
- Ensurethatallworkcarriedouton-sitecomplieswithprojectspecifications,industrystandards,andlocalregulations.
- Overseeprojectbudgets,includingcostcontrol,forecasting,andfinancialtracking.
- Manage resource allocation on-site, ensuring materials, equipment, and labour are appropriately utilized and available.
- Developandimplementstrategiestomitigaterisksandaddresschallengesastheyarise.
- Providepost-projectanalysisandfeedbacktohelpimprovefutureprojectdeliver
Business Development:
- Identifynewbusinessopportunitieswithinthearchitecture,engineering,andconstructionsectors.
- Supportthecompany’sstrategicgrowthbyfosteringrelationshipswithnewandexistingclients.
- Collaboratewithseniorleadershiptodefinetargetmarketsandpursuehigh-valueopportunities.
- Attendindustryeventsandnetworkingfunctionstopromotecompanycapabilitiesandservices.
- Workwithinternalteamstoalignprojectexecutionwithbroaderbusinessobjectivesandclientneeds.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 15+yearsofprogressiveexperienceinarchitecture,construction,andproject/sitemanagement.
- UAEexperienceismandatory.
- PMPorPRINCE2certificationrequired.
- Proventrackrecordofleadinganddeliveringcomplex,high-valuearchitecturalprojects.
- Strongunderstandingoffinancialmanagement,includingcostcontrolandprojectforecasting.
- Abilitytoplanforandmanagerisksincomplexprojectsandtakeswift,decisiveactionwhenneeded.
- Demonstratedabilitytogeneratenewbusinessandmaintainlong-termclientrelationships.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’sDegreeinArchitectureorCivilEngineering–Master’sdegreepreferred.
