16-Apr-2024 If You Are NOT HAPPY, Please Do Not Come To Work - Chinese Company Introduces Unhappy Leaves

So, there's this retail company in China that's doing something pretty cool for its employees. Instead of just focusing on work all the time, they're giving their staff something called "unhappy leave." Basically, if you're feeling down or not in the mood for work, you can take up to 10 extra days off.

How awesome is that?

The founder of the company, Yu Donglai, came up with this idea because he knows that everyone has their off days. He believes that if you're not feeling happy, it's better not to force yourself to come to work. So, they're giving their employees the freedom to decide when they need a break. And get this, management can't say no to it. It's like a right! Wow.

But that's not all. The company has other cool policies too. They've set up a 7-hour workday, weekends off, and a generous annual leave of 30 to 40 days. Plus, they even give their employees five days off during the Lunar New Year celebrations.

Yu Donglai says they're not aiming to become some giant corporation. Instead, they want their employees to have a balanced and happy life. Because, you know, when your employees are happy, the company thrives too. Isn't that a refreshing approach to work?
