On April 5, 2025, in a heartfelt gathering held in Abu Dhabi, a remarkable wave of hope, resilience, and community spirit surged through the hearts of Filipino professionals living in the UAE. This wasn’t just an event, it was a movement. And at its center stood a woman whose quiet strength and deep sense of purpose have changed lives: Strawberry Ann Villegas!

Strawberry has called the UAE home for many years. But in December 2024, she decided to turn her experience into impact by organizing a career support program for job-seeking Filipinos in the country. What started as a humble initiative quickly grew into a beacon of opportunity.

In her first event, 32 out of 50 participants landed jobs — a success story in its own right. But the true magic happened when those very job seekers returned, not as participants, but as supporters. They formed a community, 60 members strong, who now volunteer their time, money, and wisdom to lift others as they themselves were lifted.

By the third event, this network was no longer just a group. It had become a movement. From sponsoring food and venues to offering gifts and groceries, every contribution was a symbol of solidarity, a reminder that kindness has the power to multiply.
