Job Description:
Experience: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in technical or techno-functional support/implementation/development roles within the Temenos Transact (T24) core banking system with exposure in R20 or above releases. Previous experience of working with a bank in UAE will be added advantage.
Module Specifics: Extensive, in-depth knowledge and practical experience with Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) and Temenos Payments Hub (TPH).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Temenos development tools/frameworks: jBASE, TAFJ/TAFC, InfoBasic programming, and Temenos APIs/Integration Frameworks (OFS, REST/SOAP APIs).
Knowledge of SQL/jBase and windows environment for Temenos.
Banking Knowledge: Strong understanding of core banking operations, Islamic banking products (Wakala, Murabaha, Mudaraba, Ijarah etc), payment processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022, CRS, CPS, IFRS etc).
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes or effective workarounds.
Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including business users, developers, and QA teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications: Temenos certifications are a plus.
