Job Purpose
Design standard and special cables as per customer and international specifications, ensuring cost-effective solutions to support competitive tendering and new product development.
Key Responsibilities
Design standard and non-standard cables as per customer requirements
Prepare cable construction drawings using AutoCAD
Perform electrical and mechanical design calculations
Enter and manage technical designs in SAP
Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with Sales, Planning, and Manufacturing teams
Provide technical support to customers and EPC contractors
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience with SAP / ERP systems preferred
Minimum 6+ years experience in cable design/testing within manufacturing industry
