Role Overview:

As a WebMethods Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and integration solutions using the Software AG webMethods suite. You’ll play a key role in building secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration solutions using webMethods (API Gateway, Integration Server, Universal Messaging, etc.)

- Build REST & SOAP APIs, API policies, and implement security & versioning strategies

- Develop custom services and flows using webMethods Designer (Flow & Java services)

- Configure and manage the API Gateway (security, throttling, logging, analytics)

- Implement data transformations with XSLT / XSD

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across integration flows, connectors, and endpoints

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket)

- Monitor & optimize API performance, ensuring scalability and reliability

- Follow best practices for security, maintainability, and performance
