We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Costing with strong experience in FMCG manufacturing to support product costing, plant efficiency analysis, inventory valuation, and MIS reporting. The role involves supporting month-end closing, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate Product Costing through periodic cost runs
• Perform Costing & Value Chain Analysis for New Product Development (NPD)
• Prepare Plant Efficiency Reports and Month-end MIS reports
• Monitor production costs and analyze Budget vs Actual variances
• Conduct Cost Benefit Analysis and validate cost savings initiatives
• Control and ensure accuracy of BoMs & Recipes in system
• Monitor Yield Analysis & Process Losses
• Update Monthly Conversion Cost Report
• Conduct Physical Stock Verification and analyze variances
• Review Slow Moving / Non-moving Inventory and ensure provisions
• Prepare Weekly Stock Position & Mark to Market report
• Assist in Month-end Closing, Budgeting, Presentations & Project evaluations
• Prepare Ad-hoc reports as required
Requirements
🎓 Qualification
• CMA / CA/ACCA /CA Inter or Any finance
💼 Experience
• 3–5 years experience in Costing
• Minimum 2 years experience in Plant Costing in FMCG / Manufacturing
🛠 Skills
• Mandatory experience in SAP – CO Module
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
