Scope of Role
The MEP Operations Manager will lead MEP operations across multiple projects, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with SLAs, and high-quality facilities management performance. The role also supports business development initiatives and maintains strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
MEP Operations Management
• Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Ensure preventive & corrective maintenance across facilities
• Monitor service delivery in line with SLAs and contractual obligations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Review maintenance plans, work orders, and technical reports
• Manage engineers, supervisors, and technicians
Financial & Cost Control
• Monitor operational budgets and expenses
• Control material consumption and procurement
• Review quotations and approve technical purchases
Business Development Support
• Identify new opportunities in MEP & facilities management services
• Support preparation of technical proposals and cost estimates
• Participate in client meetings and site surveys
Client Relationship Management
• Act as main point of contact for clients
• Conduct regular meetings and site inspections
• Ensure client satisfaction and contract retention
Team Leadership & Reporting
• Plan manpower allocation and supervise technical teams
• Conduct performance evaluations and technical training
• Prepare operational and KPI performance reports
• Ensure compliance with company and safety standards
Requirements
✔ Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP & Facilities Operations
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
✔ Strong leadership and client management skills
✔ Professional FM or MEP certifications are an advantage
