This role requires close collaboration with coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure athletes achieve peak physical condition safely and efficiently.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, COMPETENCY AND EXPERIENCE
Assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal injuries related to sports and physical activity.
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and injury prevention programs.
Provide on-field and clinical physiotherapy support during training sessions and competitions.
Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, exercise therapy, and sports-specific rehabilitation protocols.
Monitor athlete progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including sports physicians, strength & conditioning coaches, and nutritionists.
Conduct biomechanical assessments and performance screenings.
Educate athletes and staff on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and physical wellness.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
