About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team on a long-term remote project. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and SQL optimization. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing database solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize existing database code for performance.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical database solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and production incidents.

Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

- Develop and maintain stored procedures and database objects.

- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with coding standards.

- Support database deployments, enhancements, and release activities.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

- Strong expertise in Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.

- Advanced knowledge of SQL query writing and optimization.

- Experience with packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, collections, and exception handling.

- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
