🔧 Key Responsibilities:

▪️ Supervise machinists, fitters and workshop technicians

▪️ Manage turning, milling, drilling, boring and grinding operations

▪️ Monitor machining dimensions and tolerances

▪️ Optimize machine utilization and reduce idle time

▪️ Supervise gearbox and shaft repair/reconditioning

▪️ Oversee hydraulic cylinder repair and testing

▪️ Manage dismantling, inspection, fitting and assembly activities

▪️ Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production and QC

▪️ Monitor workshop manpower, productivity and job completion

✅ Requirements:

✔️ 8–10+ years of machine-shop/workshop experience

✔️ Strong practical machining knowledge

✔️ CNC and conventional machining exposure preferred

✔️ Mechanical repair/reconditioning experience

✔️ Knowledge of gearboxes, shafts and hydraulic cylinders highly desirable

✔️ Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances

✔️ Previous supervisory experience preferred

✔️ Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability
