Minimum Experience
▪️5-7 years’ experience in product control, FP&A or valuation control within reputable banks
▪️Strong financial markets product knowledge across asset classes and associated P&L explain and attribution process
▪️Deep understanding of IFRS 9, 13, derivative valuation models and techniques
▪️Proficiency in computational, technical and spreadsheet skills and knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters is beneficial
▪️Familiar with Murex system
The Global Markets business finance is an independent control and enablement function within Group Finance. GM business finance supports Global Markets business locally and internationally by providing timely and robust financial performance analysis, independent price verification(IPV), budgeting, forcasting, and MI reporting etc..
This role reports into the VP within the GM Business Finance team. The successful candidate will assist the team to run the day to day BAU control processes and contribute to process improvements to strengthen controls and ensure compliance with Accounting Standards and Regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
Enhance and maintain robust valuation control process around the measurement of fair value for financial instrument to consistently ensure its transparency, prudence & reliability in line with the evolving accounting & regulatory requirement.

▪️ Desk level Business performance comments and GM monthly performance pack
▪️ Sales revenue reporting and segment analysis
▪️ Monthly CPR and annual budgeting
▪️ Monitorting and reporting of GM operating cost and tracking
