Job Purpose:
We are seeking for a meticulous and proactive Trade Finance Operations professional to manage the full cycle of trade transactions. The role involves handling products like Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Collections, and Bills for Trade, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, compliance with internal policies, and adherence to international trade regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
▪️ Process and manage trade finance transactions, including:
▪️ Issuance, amendment, and settlement of Letters of Credit (LCs)
▪️ Bank Guarantees and Standby LCs
▪️ Documentary Collections and Bills for Collection
▪️ Ensure compliance with international regulations (UCP 600, URDG, ISBP, URC, etc.)
▪️ Communicate with clients, banks, and internal departments (e.g., relationship managers, compliance, treasury)
▪️ Review and verify trade documents for completeness and accuracy
▪️ Track transaction status and follow up on outstanding documentation
▪️ Prepare and process SWIFT MT7XX series messages for trade transactions
▪️ Handle document discrepancies, negotiation, and settlement for export/import deals
▪️ Support audits and compliance reviews by providing relevant documentation
▪️ Stay current on international trade rules, regulatory changes, and sanctions policies
Preferred Certifications:
▪️ CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist)
▪️ CITF (Certificate in International Trade and Finance)
