Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8–12 years of IT & business/industry experience (4–6 years in a similar role in the UAE)
- Good knowledge of Automotive SAP systems and UAE automotive regulations
- Business acumen in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of vehicle sales, spare parts, services, CRM, and finance
- Technical knowledge of SAP_automotive products
- Experience with SQL Report Builder, database management, and report building
- Migration experience from Autoline to SAP
- Knowledge in SAP SD/MM/FICO, EVM, or SAP Project Management (advantage)
- Analytical, documentation, and presentation skills
Job Purpose:
- The IT Service Manager – Automotive manages the SAP landscape from a functional and support perspective, acting as a key escalation point for major issues and requests.
- The role supports various projects' implementation and contributes to the technology and digital roadmaps to enhance business performance.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the application administrator for core SAP applications.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis on support tickets, maintain knowledge base.
- Lead documentation and delivery of SAP change requests.
- Support small SAP changes (fields, validations, workflows).
- Provide functional SAP support and develop user manuals.
- Participate in SAP upgrades, testing, and Go-Live support.
- Oversee operations and health of daily batch jobs and IT services.
- Process user access requests per SOD principles.
- Support and channel IT requirements to relevant departments.
- Participate in strategic visioning and budget planning for IT services.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, handle stakeholder escalations, and manage risks.
- Enforce Group IT policies and standards.
- Review architecture documents and act as product manager for core solutions.
- Capture lessons learned and develop continual improvement plans.
- Liaise between IT, users, and management for seamless system adoption.
- Introduce best practices and promote technology adoption.
- Contribute to the entity's digital transformation roadmap.
