About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Linux / VMware Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux and VMware environments, along with a passion for system performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and VMware infrastructure.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.

- Perform regular patching, upgrades, and backups.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, virtualization, and storage.

- Implement and maintain system security and compliance standards.

- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

- Collaborate with IT and application teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Linux and VMware Administrator.

- Strong knowledge of RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu and VMware vSphere / ESXi.

- Hands-on experience with storage, networking, and server hardware.

- Familiarity with shell scripting and automation tools (Bash, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Certifications such as RHCSA / RHCE / VCP are a plus.
