Job Overview:
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS standards. This role involves managing the company’s financial records, preparing reports, coordinating with project teams, reconciling accounts, processing vendor payments, and supporting audits and budgeting activities. The candidate must have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
·Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with IFRS.
·Extract trial balances and prepare various financial and management reports.
·Coordinate with project teams for invoicing, revenue recognition, cost accruals, and project-related expense tracking.
·Maintain and update ERP systems to ensure timely reporting and analytical accuracy.
·Perform month-end closing procedures across entities within strict deadlines.
·Reconcile cash, bank, and intercompany accounts on a weekly basis.
·Plan, prepare, and process payments (cash & bank) ensuring proper approvals.
·Support internal and external audit processes.
·Assist in budgeting and MIS reporting.
·Conduct monthly vendor reconciliations.
·Approve GRNs, record vendor invoices, and process payment vouchers.
·Maintain prepaid schedules, book monthly expenses, and record accruals.
·Handle petty cash transactions, act as custodian of PDC cheques, arrange daily bank deposits, and perform account reconciliations.
·Take accountability for freight forwarder & operations expenses along with their reconciliation.
·Manage marketing activities by raising claims on vendors, maintaining POEs for audit purposes, and booking the relevant expenses.
Qualifications & Skills:
·Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Professional certification such as ACCA/CPA/CA is an advantage).
·3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
·Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
·Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
·Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
·Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
·Excellent communication and coordination skills.
