Project Manager to manage organization of key Procurement Projects (including Outsourcing Program) ensuring effective project standards providing support, training, and oversight.

Take an active role in the development and maintenance of the Project Portfolio.

Plan and project-manage multiple projects within Procurement defined milestones. Ensure timely project delivery. Build, manage and motivate cross-functional teams.

Participate in defining scope, and make sure of clear Business requirements.


Responsibilities

o Coordinate with internal parties for the flawless execution of projects

o Ensure that all projects are delivered on time.

o Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.

o Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

o Predict requirements and workload to reach objectives and manage projects in an effective and efficient manner.

o Utilize industry’s best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire projects execution.

o Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope & schedule, if any.

o Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

o Report and escalate to management as needed.

o Manage the relationship with all internal stakeholders including control functions, audit & relevant management/board forums.

o Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

o Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

o Report project progress in line with stated policies and procedures within the organisation, including ensuring that any requests for information on projects from the programme manager and other senior staff within the organisation are answered in a timely manner.

o Perform other related duties as assigned


Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field

· Communication Skills (both up and down steam)

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

· Proven ability to solve problems creatively

· Technical/Functional understanding of assigned application portfolio

· Operational Risk background

· Procurement Background

· Arabic speaking preferred
