Job Summary:

The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. They gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and support project teams in delivering effective solutions. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects that meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives. • Analysis & Documentation: Analyze complex business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Document requirements in the form of business cases, user stories, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications.

• Solution Design: Work with development teams to design and recommend solutions that align with business needs, ensuring both technical and business feasibility.

• Testing & Validation: Assist in developing test cases and plans to validate that solutions meet the business requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementation.

• Project Support: Support project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring that project goals are achieved on time and within budget.

o Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on BIM-related applications, integrations, or tools.

o Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and JavaScript, SQL, No SQL.

o Familiarity using open-source BIM libraries (XBIM toolkit, IfcOpenshell, ThreeJs, WebGL)

o Familiarity with BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit. o Knowledge of open standards for data exchange in BIM (e.g., IFC, COBie, BCF) and how to implement these standards in software applications.

o Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, databases, and cloud based architectures.

o Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.

o Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment, collaborating closely with BIM professionals, project managers, and other stakeholders.
