We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer – Electrical (Substation) to oversee high-voltage substation projects and ensure successful execution in line with client requirements and UAE utility standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of electrical engineering for substation design and construction supervision

• Supervise technical works for 400kV / 220kV / 132kV substations on behalf of the client (TRANSCO)

• Ensure site activities strictly follow approved engineering designs

• Monitor, report, and resolve non-conformance issues

• Plan and supervise engineering and inspection activities

• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards

• Maintain strong client relationships and communication

• Review, verify, and close out installed quantities

• Provide progress reports and recommend technical solutions

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (approved by UAE authorities)

• Minimum 10 years of experience in substation projects within the UAE

• Strong expertise in 400kV / 220kV / 132kV substations

• Experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, and project management

• Good knowledge of utility standards, QA/QC, and contract procedures

• Previous experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA or major UAE utilities is highly preferred
