Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), liquid penetrant testing (PT), radiographic testing (RT), and visual inspection.
- Interpret and evaluate test results accurately and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Ensure testing methods and equipment are calibrated and maintained according to industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to discuss results and facilitate corrective actions as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards during testing procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and NDT practices.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior inspectors and technicians.
- Participate in regular quality audits and inspections to uphold company standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT Level II or III in UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.) is required.
