Job Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for acting as an Oracle Fusion Technical Specialist, focusing on reporting, analytics, and Financial Data Integrator (FDI) solutions across Oracle Fusion and related technologies. This role ensures the seamless integration, customization, and enhancement of Oracle reporting tools to meet business needs.
Key Accountabilities:
◾ Develop and maintain reports using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) for various Oracle Fusion modules.
Work with Financial Data Integrator (FDI) for financial reporting and automation.
◾ Design and develop dashboards and data visualizations to enhance business decision-making.
◾ Optimize and customize reporting solutions based on user requirements.
◾ Ensure compliance with Oracle AIM methodology and best practices.
◾ Provide technical expertise on Fusion reporting tools, including FBDI, HDL, and ADFDI (for reporting purposes only, excluding data migration).
◾ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
◾ Troubleshoot and resolve reporting-related performance issues.
◾ Document technical solutions, including MD050/MD070 specifications.
◾ Review and validate reports delivered by implementation vendors.
◾ Provide training to users and IT teams on Oracle Fusion reporting functionalities.
◾ Work with Oracle Support to resolve any reporting or FDI-related issues.
◾ Support post-live troubleshooting and enhancements for Oracle Fusion reporting modules.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
◾ Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion reporting and analytics.
◾ Proven expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, and HCM reporting.
Skills:
◾ Expertise in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL for reporting.
◾ Strong knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and FDI.
◾ Experience with Groovy scripting for report automation.
◾ Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Sandbox customizations.
◾ Experience with Oracle Cloud SaaS/PaaS reporting solutions.
◾ Understanding of Oracle Fusion interface tables, APIs, and reporting hierarchies.
◾ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
◾ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple reporting tasks.
◾ Oracle Certifications in BI or Financial Reporting are advantageous.
◾ Knowledge in API development.
◾ Knowledge and hands on experience with Integration frameworks offered by OIC to integrate with Oracle Cloud SaaS (ERP, EPM) & Salesforce applications.
