Job Purpose:
The Event Hospitality Manager will be responsible for designing and overseeing the hospitality experience for the Asia-Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors’ Forum 2025. The role will ensure that delegates, mayors, and VIPs enjoy a seamless guest journey across all touchpoints, from staffing and F&B to protocol and field trips. Working closely with Events Operations, DXB Live, PCO, caterers, and protocol offices, the manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of hospitality services to the highest international standards, reflecting organization's commitment to service excellence, sustainability, and inclusivity.
Responsibilities
• Event Planning & Coordination:
Oversee the functionality of the dedicated show space, liaising with the DXB Show Team (show caller, AV team, stage manager, and runners).
Collaborate with programming teams on agenda changes and coordinate effectively with the DXB Live team to ensure a seamless agenda flow.
• Technical Production & On-Site Execution:
Oversee AV setup, rehearsals, and technical integrations.
Coordinate with the stage management team to create a dynamic and engaging experience.
Troubleshoot last-minute changes and technical issues efficiently.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Work closely with production vendors to meet technical and creative requirements.
Liaise with venue operations for permissions, rehearsals, and contingency planning.
• Post-Event & Reporting:
Provide a comprehensive post-event report, including key learnings and recommendations.
Manage content archival for future reference and repurposing.
Required Background:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the events industry, ideally within conferences, forums, or large-scale international events in the UAE.
• Proven expertise in programme planning and hospitality management (F&B, receptions, gala dinners, field trips).
• Proven experience in vendor and subcontractor management, with strong knowledge of contract compliance and cost control.
