Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers RHEL, Ubuntu etc) in physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
Familiarity with virtualization VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP).
Conduct vulnerability assessments, Patching Hardening and remediation in coordination with cybersecurity teams
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Perform advanced kernel tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
Automate routine tasks using shell scripting , Ansible or any other automation tool
Collaborate with application, database, and network teams to support business-critical systems.
Lead root cause analysis RCA) and post-incident reviews for critical system outages.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of a rotation schedule.
