Required Skills:
§ Develop scenario analyses to support pricing negotiations with large merchants for card acceptance or Co-Brand partnerships.
§ Apply analytical thinking around commercial services, including revenue and cost modelling. Define value propositions and support product team with pitches and deals Support and influence the building of the product roadmap.
§ Translate business needs into data requirements and data structures to support reporting, ad hoc queries, and analytics.
§ Understand business objectives, data questions, and site-tagging problems to ensure accuracy of data.
§ Recommend and follow-up system change requests to meet changing business needs to improve data management & tools for improved analytical capability.
§ Ensure that all data/MIS that are handled / produced by the unit are managed in a secure manner and as per the agreed service standards in accordance with established controls and procedures
§ Understanding of Merchant Acquiring business and the details of P&L including but not limited to transaction level revenue and cost items, scheme cost dynamics, various application costs, and leading business indicators
§ Expert knowledge in portfolio management as well as test/control program management dynamics
§ Closely monitor the results of all portfolio management activities in coordination with all channels
§ Business case preparation capability and thus financial acumen
§ Expert knowledge of reporting/analytical tools like SAS, SQL, Crystal report, MS Excel etc.
§ Excellent knowledge of the Cards Business, portfolio dynamics and the various P&L aspects related to Acquiring business
§ Information systems management
