Role Summary
SOC Analyst L2 is responsible for deep investigation, incident response, and threat containment. This role handles escalated alerts from L1, performs advanced analysis, drives remediation actions, and acts as the technical backbone of SOC delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
4-5 years experience in SOC / Incident Response
Strong understanding of:
Windows & Active Directory security
Network security
Endpoint security
Cloud security fundamentals (Azure/AWS)
EDR/XDR
Firewall / WAF
IDS/IPS
Email Security
Proxy / Web Security
DLP
NDR / Threat Intelligence
Hands-on experience with SIEM/XDR platforms
Knowledge of malware behavior and attacker techniques
Ability to write detection queries (KQL preferred)
Experience in incident response lifecycle
