🔹 Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models across the lakehouse. The role will ensure data structures are consistent, governed, traceable and aligned with business requirements, supporting analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.

🔹 Mandatory to Have

✅ 6+ years of experience in Data Modelling across data warehouse, lakehouse or analytics programs

✅ Strong expertise in Conceptual, Logical amp; Physical Data Modelling

✅ Expert knowledge of Dimensional / Kimball Modelling

✅ Strong understanding of Data Vault, Canonical Models and Normalization

✅ Strong SQL skills

✅ Experience with Spark / Delta and cloud data platforms such as Azure / Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Synapse

✅ Hands-on experience with modelling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, SqlDBM or equivalent

✅ Experience creating and maintaining Source-to-Target Mappings and Transformation Rules

✅ Strong understanding of Business Keys, Surrogate Keys, Referential Integrity, Historization amp; SCD

✅ Experience with Master amp; Reference Data Modelling

✅ Knowledge of Semantic Models, Power BI Data Models, Measures, Hierarchies amp; KPIs ✅ Experience publishing models and metadata to Microsoft Purview

✅ Strong understanding of Data Governance, Business Glossary amp; Critical Data Elements (CDEs)

✅ Knowledge of UAE PDPL, Dubai Data Law and DESC ISR

✅ Excellent English communication and documentation skills

⭐ Preferred

• UAE Government / regulated-sector experience

• Experience with Data Classification, PII/Sensitive Data and Data Governance

• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK2 • DAMA CDMP or Fabric Analytics Engineer certification

• Experience working with enterprise MDM platforms
