🔹 Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Quality Engineer to drive enterprise data quality across the lakehouse, ensuring data is accurate, complete, consistent, valid, timely and fit for analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.

🔹 Mandatory to Have

✅ 4+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Engineering, Data Management or Data Governance

✅ Strong hands-on experience in Data Profiling, DQ Rules, Validation, Reconciliation, Monitoring & Remediation

✅ Advanced SQL – mandatory

✅ Practical experience with Python / PySpark / Spark

✅ Strong knowledge of Relational & Dimensional Data Modelling

✅ Experience with Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture – Bronze, Silver & Gold

✅ Experience with Azure / Microsoft Fabric preferred

✅ Hands-on/working knowledge of Microsoft Purview and MDM platforms

✅ Knowledge of Data Quality dimensions: Accuracy, Completeness, Validity, Consistency, Uniqueness, Timeliness & Referential Integrity

✅ Experience implementing automated DQ controls within data pipelines

✅ Strong experience in source-to-target reconciliation and root-cause analysis

✅ Knowledge of UAE PDPL, Dubai Data Law and DESC ISR

⭐ Preferred

• UAE Government / regulated-sector experience

• ISO 8000 / DAMA-DMBOK2 knowledge

• Arabic language proficiency

• Experience with enterprise data governance programs
