🔹 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to build and operate production-grade data pipelines that move data from source systems into the Lakehouse and support analytics and AI workloads.

🔹 Required Skills & Experience:

➤ Data Engineering: 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably within UAE government or regulated-sector environments.

➤ Programming: Advanced SQL, Python and PySpark/Spark skills.

➤ Cloud Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Synapse.

➤ Lakehouse: Strong understanding of Lakehouse/Medallion architecture, Delta/Parquet and dimensional modelling, including SCDs and surrogate keys.

➤ DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub, CI/CD, source control and DataOps practices.

➤ Data Governance: Familiarity with Microsoft Purview metadata and lineage and Data Quality tooling.

➤ Compliance: Awareness of UAE PDPL, Dubai Data Law and DESC ISR.

➤ Communication: Excellent English communication and documentation skills.

➤ Arabic: Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
