We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to join client's finance team within the community management division. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, ensure timely and compliant payments, and assist in month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Invoice Processing
Accurately book Accounts Payable (AP) invoices by liaising with the operational teams.
Record monthly accruals based on contracts and Local Purchase Orders (LPOs).
Prepare supplier aging reports and perform reconciliations with supplier Statements of Accounts (SOAs).
Ensure supplier payments are processed in compliance with company's guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Banking & Payments
Prepare and process payments from common area escrow accounts.
Handle timely and accurate payment of utilities and regulatory charges including DEWA, DM, and FTA.
Execute monthly bank reconciliations.
Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and related reports in coordination with the Group VAT team.
Support internal controls to comply with financial, operational, and regulatory frameworks.
Month-End & Reporting
Support month-end closing activities by ensuring all financial data is complete and accurate.
Assist in the preparation and review of service fee budgets.
Service Fee Management
Support on issuance of service fee invoices to homeowners in a timely manner.
Support in recording receipts of service fee collections.
Ensure adherence company's collection policies and methodologies.
Book invoices of the community management company and issue them to relevant stakeholders.
Close service requests related to financial queries within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Audit & Financial Support
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting (mandatory).
Candidates pursuing or holding certifications such as CA, CMA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial operations within Owners Association (OA) and community management environments.
Familiarity with the regulatory frameworks and OA escrow account handling in the UAE context is an advantage.
