Aion Group is expanding its FinTech engineering team, and we are looking for a talented Software Engineer (Nest & Node.js) to help build high-performance financial platforms used across the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and modern frameworks.

- Architect and optimize microservices for performance, reliability, and scale.

- Collaborate with frontend and product teams on feature delivery.

- Write clean, testable, reusable, and secure code.

- Troubleshoot backend issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Implement strong security and data protection practices.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Support DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (Azure preferred).

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- Experience with FinTech, banking, or GCC clients is a strong plus.

Required Skills

- JavaScript/TypeScript

- Node.js, NestJS, Express, GraphQL

- Microservices architecture

- SQL & NoSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

- Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka

- Docker, Kubernetes

- Cloud deployments (Azure preferred)

- Unit testing (Mocha, Jest)

- API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)

- Authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, SSO)

- Git/version control best practices

Bonus Skills

- FinTech experience (payments, wallets, banking, KYC, etc.)

- Knowledge of Angular, React, or React Native.
