Job Description
While specific job duties may vary based on the type of project or product being estimated the key role is to analyse and compile data on every factor that may affect the cost of the final build and delivery of an exhibition stand or event. Responsible for taking a project from the initial design phase and breaking down all expenses including materials and other resources including outsource and assistant to line manager.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Review visuals and Technical Drawings, Design and specifications for an exhibition stand or event
Perform quantity take offs on exhibition stand designs and events.
Estimate material, equipment and resource cost via an agreed template
Liaise with stand fabricators and associated suppliers.
Brief taking & perpetration of initial estimated budgets for review by Senior Management prior to contractual committal.
Long-hours in front of the computer
Minimum Qualifications
Formal Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Estimation field.
Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of architectural drawings & construction/exhibition estimating process. Knowledge of CAD Ability to work unsociable hours Respond to deadlines Good negotiation skills. Interdepartmental communication skills.
Own Visa candidates will be preferred.
