We are looking for a highly skilled Metallurgical Engineer to join our Metals Business division. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the Aluminum casting line and ensuring efficient, safe, and optimized production of Alloy and EC rods.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations and ensure all performance objectives are met.
Manage molten metal receiving, homogenization, casting, rolling, and rod coiling processes.
Implement section policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Support budget planning, consumable forecasting, and contingency planning.
Ensure adherence to HSE practices and safe work methods.
Generate operational, commissioning, and monthly performance reports.
Analyze process issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
Collaborate with Sales & Technical teams on product specifications and new product development.
Ensure preventive maintenance and maximize equipment efficiency.
Address customer complaints with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).
Manage SAP PP master data and ensure accurate system usage.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
Experience in molten aluminum handling, alloy additives, casting & mill parameter setup.
Strong knowledge of Alloy types (especially 6xxx & 8xxx series).
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
