Purpose of Job:
The ELK Engineer will support the onboarding of applications to the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) platform across multiple environments (AWS, Azure, and Rancher On-Prem).
This role focuses on onboarding applications logs into ELK including pre-requisite, agent installation, log ingestion validation, Logstash filters, dashboard, alerts, troubleshooting, and working with application teams to ensure a smooth ELK onboarding.
Job knowledge, skills & experience:
• Overall #2 to #5 years of experience working within a large enterprise consisting of large and diverse teams.
• Hands-on exp on ELK stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Hands on exp on installing beat and elastic agents
• Good understanding of Linux commands.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) – Good to have
• Basic networking (ports, protocols, connectivity testing).
