About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Microservices Developer to join our client’s development team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise application development, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate microservices with internal and external systems.

- Build applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Implement microservices architecture, service-to-service communication, and API integrations.

- Work with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other developers.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.

- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

- Solid experience developing Microservices architectures.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JSON/XML.

- Experience with Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

- Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies is an advantage.

- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 15 days are strongly preferred.
