Job Summary:
The role involves leading the assessment, development, and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across key organizational functions. The incumbent will evaluate current workflows through staff interviews and policy reviews to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks. They will design and draft SOPs for departments such as Finance, HR, Programs, Partnerships, SEF, and Marketing, ensuring alignment with organizational policies, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
The position also includes coordinating reviews and validations with management and stakeholders, refining SOPs for clarity and practicality, and compiling finalized documents into a comprehensive SOP manual. Deliverables include a standardized SOP template, departmental SOPs (draft and final), a consolidated SOP manual, and a summary report with implementation recommendations.
Experience and Skills:
1. Assessment & Research:
o Conduct staff interviews and review existing processes, policies, and templates.
o Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks in current workflows.
2. SOP Development:
o Draft SOPs for departments (Finance, HR, Programs, Partnerships, SEF, Marketing).
o Ensure alignment with policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
o Include visuals/flowcharts to simplify processes.
3. Validation & Review:
o Share drafts for feedback, revise, and finalize SOPs.
o Ensure practicality and clarity for implementation.
4. Documentation & Handover:
o Deliver finalized SOPs (Word/PDF) and a standardized template.
o Compile a complete SOP manual (soft and hard copies).
